Horray for productivity! Finally finished this sexy beast after letting it gather dust in my computer's attic for a couple of months hehe.

Crixalis, The Sand King, is a hero from Dota (Defense of the Ancients) and apparently he's a mutant scorpion according to the folks who made dota but I thought that was kind of boring so I made an alternative background for him :)

Crixalis was born the son of the chief in his Arachnathid tribe but soon after his birth his father's peers murdered his father and a new regime took over. Crixalis somehow escapes from the icecrown glacier to the Barrens where he survives only through cunning and chicanery. After 50 years he returns to the Icecrown Glacier and kills the entire council that murdered his father in a vicious battle. Crixalis reclaims his throne and everyone is like "yay the real chief is back." Crixalis' body is covered in scars that were etched into his exoskeleton by the corrosive poison of the council members he destroyed which act as badges of courage/bravery in arachnathid culture so no one dares to fuck with crixalis! Yeah! Oh and i guess he's summoned by the lich king to defend the icecrown and all that jazz.

dude this is totally sweet! did you draw this from mind, or from a pic, or just from the warcraft graphics? j/w. Hey are you going to granto's tonight? if so we should also go blading. anyway, this is so sweet and I htink that the best part is, as pockettwatch said, the mass of hair on his face. cus you did that awesome.

Oh yeah he's got tons of poison, and also magic. That green glowing stuff is actually mana that runs in his veins, he's probably going to summon an earthquake soon

this is actually a shot taken right after he did all three of those things. he last hitted a leet creep which blew up and killed rohan who also blew up and gg'd 4 noobs, the 5th noob was already gg'd and still had 24 seconds left before respawn
